I had a wonderful conversation with one of my MDs and he told me that at my age, I should be paying myself. I asked him what he meant with paying myself. He said that I should give myself a sort of price that I am supposed to pay every month. This is apart from the savings that I want to have. If I do this, by the age of 30, I could have a million to myself. After that insightful conversation, I told myself hey I could do that. No more luxuries for me...or maybe a little...I deserve to pamper myself once in a while, but I would try that"paying myself concept."
Having seen how it paid off for him, there's no harm in trying...:) Who knows I could try being a millionaire earlier than that...:)
